Real People, Real Results

We started mylphorexan because budgeting shouldn't feel impossible. Seven years later, we're still here helping Australian families take control of their finances — one practical step at a time.

How We Actually Started

Back in 2018, I was sitting in a café in Bankstown watching a young mum count coins for her coffee. She was doing the mental math we all know — rent, groceries, petrol, kids' school fees. That moment stuck with me.

See, I'd spent years working in corporate finance, helping businesses manage millions. But here was someone who needed help managing hundreds, and there was nowhere practical for her to turn. The banks offered credit. The internet offered get-rich-quick schemes.

Nobody was talking about the real stuff — how to stretch $50 for groceries, why your electricity bill keeps climbing, or how to save for Christmas without using a credit card. So we decided to fill that gap.

mylphorexan isn't about making you wealthy overnight. We're about making your money work better for your actual life, right now, today.

What Drives Us Forward

These aren't just nice words on a wall. They're the principles that guide every decision we make and every program we create.

Real-World Focus

We deal with actual budgets, real income levels, and the genuine challenges Australian families face every day. No theoretical perfection here.

Honest Communication

Money conversations can be uncomfortable, but they don't have to be confusing. We speak plainly about complex topics without the jargon.

Long-Term Thinking

Quick fixes rarely stick. We focus on building habits and systems that work for years, not just until your next payday.

The People Behind mylphorexan

We're not financial celebrities or millionaire gurus. We're regular people who happen to be really good at helping other regular people manage money better.
